The Paralume Table Lamp is a clever play on materials, scale, and the traditional table lamp profile. It was designed in 1983 by the Leucos Design Lab, and both the base and the shade are made of handblown incamiciato glass that can each be illuminated. Incamiciato is a Venetian glass-blowing technique where a Maestro glass blower uses multiple layers of glass—each of different transparencies and properties—to create a rich satin white finish that is strong and provides perfect diffused light in your space.
